Random Puck of the Day: Caps vs. Devils Game Puck from 2020-21

With Detroit beating Chicago on Wednesday night, Washington needs a loss tonight to keep pace in TankWatch 2023. Hopefully the New Jersey Devils can oblige.

...which is more than I can say for them the night this puck went on the ice.

This little guy spent a few minutes getting used on February 28, 2021, during the Capitals' 3-2 win in Newark. With the game tied 2-2, Alex Ovechkin put the Caps ahead with a little more than six minutes left in the second period. Nicklas Backstrom and Jakub Vrana had Washington's other two goals.

I really love how scuffed up this one is.
