As much fun as I had watching Detroit get throttled by Ottawa earlier this week, it did Washington no favors. As of today, the Red Wings currently hold the enviable position of 10th in the draft lottery standings; the Caps' 66 points is one ahead (or behind, however you want to look at it) of Detroit's 65.
